This Privacy Notice for Wyren LLC describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use our services, including when you visit memoria.wyren.app, use our application, or engage with us in other related ways.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register or contact us, including email addresses, usernames, and user-generated session content including personal reflections and journal entries. For Family and Legacy plan users, we also collect the email addresses of family members you invite to access your Memoria record.
Sensitive Information. We may process personal communications or messages you share within the app.
Payment Data. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. See stripe.com/privacy.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your information to provide and improve our Services, manage user accounts, respond to inquiries, protect our Services from fraud, identify usage trends, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON?
We process your personal information only when we have a valid legal basis including your consent, to fulfill contractual obligations, for legitimate business interests, or to comply with legal requirements. If you are located in the EU, UK, or Canada, additional regional protections apply including GDPR rights.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION?
We may share your information in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information to service providers under written contract.
5. DO WE OFFER AI-BASED PRODUCTS?
Yes. Wyren Memoria is powered by AI technology provided by Anthropic. Your session conversations and responses are processed by Anthropic to deliver the service. Importantly, your session content — including your soul document — is treated as sensitive personal data. We do not use your session content to train AI models. Anthropic's privacy policy is at anthropic.com. By using Wyren Memoria you acknowledge your session content is processed by an AI system and transmitted to Anthropic servers.
6. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
Our servers are located in the United States. Your data is stored in Supabase and hosted on Vercel, both US-based services. If you access the Services from outside the US your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We implement Standard Contractual Clauses for EEA and UK users where required.
6a. LEGACY MODE AND FAMILY ACCESS
If you enable Legacy Mode, family members you authorize may access your session record. You control who has access and when — this feature is never enabled without your explicit action. After your passing, your authorized family members retain read access to your session record. They may ask questions and receive responses drawn only from your actual session content. We do not generate, invent, or extrapolate content beyond what you said in your sessions.
7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We retain your personal information for as long as you have an account with us or as required by law. When you request deletion we remove your data from our active systems promptly. When no longer needed we delete or anonymize your information.
8. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including row-level security controls on our database. However no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. Use the Services within a secure environment.
9. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
No. We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18. By using the Services you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If you believe we have collected data from a minor contact us at info@wyren.app and we will delete the associated data promptly.
10. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights contact info@wyren.app. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals as no uniform standard exists for recognizing or honoring them. California law requires us to disclose this practice.
12. US STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia may have specific rights regarding their personal information including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information. California residents may also request information under the Shine the Light law by contacting us in writing.
Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months: Identifiers (YES), Internet activity (YES), Inferences drawn from personal information (YES), Sensitive personal information including session content (YES). All other standard categories: NO.
To exercise your state privacy rights contact info@wyren.app. We will verify your identity before processing your request. If we decline your request you may appeal by emailing us and if your appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.
13. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
Wyren Memoria is a legacy preservation application. It is not a mental health service, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional psychological care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
14. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
Yes. We may update this Privacy Notice as needed to stay compliant with applicable laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
